“Problems Looking for Solutions“
The FY2026 INFUSE Workshop will take place at Oak Ridge National Laboratory on November 5-7, 2025. The goal of this event is to foster connections among existing INFUSE awardees and partners, facilitate new connections between private fusion industry and unique lab and university resources.
On days two and three attendees will participate in poster sessions, discussions about the CRADA process, and receive information about the most recent request for assistance. There will also be opportunities to schedule time with representatives from national labs and universities to discuss possible collaboration.

November 5 – Tours of Various ORNL Facilities and Labs

November 6 – 7: Workshop Dates
- Poster Sessions
- Panel Discussion of CRADA process
- Info session on the upcoming FY26 Request for Assistance (RFA)
- Opportunities to schedule time with representatives from national labs and universities to discussion possible collaboration.
- Starting 8:00am on November 6
- Ending around 2:30pm on November 7
Registration Fees and Deadlines:
- Early registration is $250 until August 29, 2025, and increases to $350 thereafter.
- Registration for US Registrants will close on October 30, 2025.
- Registration for Non-US Registrants will close on September 30, 2025

An approved site access request is required to visit the ORNL campus.
After submitting the INFUSE Workshop registration, you will receive an email titled “Invitation from Oak Ridge National Laboratory” to the email address provided on your registration form. Complete and submit the information before the deadline indicated on the invitation.
This is time sensitive – failure to respond will result in a declined access request, and you will be unable to attend the workshop.
Call for Posters
Posters will be displayed in the lobby outside of the conference space. Posters should focus on the capabilities of the universities and national laboratories or technical results from past, present, or possible INFUSE projects.
Collaborative meetings
The workshop agenda is designed to encourage attendees to network through coffee breaks, poster sessions, and the space to hold private meetings.
