30th IEEE Symposium on Fusion Engineering (SOFE)
The 2023 SOFE meeting is scheduled for July 9-13 in Oxford, UK. The program will include a panel session on public-private partnerships. More information about the conference can be accessed at the web site. The abstract deadline has been extended to January 31.

HFVMTF Cable Test Facility: First Workshop on User Interfaces
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) are together building a new High Field Vertical Magnet Test Facility (HFVMTF) for testing high-temperature superconducting cables in a high magnetic dipole field. INFUSE program names new leadership team
Arnie Lumsdaine at ORNL was named the new INFUSE director pending the retirement of Dennis Youchison. Walter Guttenfelder at PPPL was named the new deputy director as Ahmed Diallo moves to an IPA position with DOE ARPAe. Arnie and Walter are also the new POCs for ORNL and PPPL, respectively.
